Info: Eighteen years ago I began my career in the restaurant industry and since then have explored and loved all that it has to offer. From fine dining to casually upscale ventures, in New York as well as Atlanta, I’ve developed, managed and/or owned several successful and innovative restaurants, such as The Globe, Atlanta Magazine’s “Restaurant of the Year” in 2006.
About two years ago I had the wild idea to take the city to the suburbs and create an engaging and interesting – hence, sexy – destination, offering the sophisticated appeal of a big city restaurant without the big city inconveniences, or long commute. After further consideration I chose the gastropub concept, and worked with Judy O'Buck Gordon of O Architects on the design. The space is simplistic and fun, with a relaxed atmosphere that combines well our comfort food cuisine and high standards.

Info: After thirty years in the restaurant business working and learning from others, in 2004, Kevin Rathbun opened his namesake restaurant, Rathbun's, then Krog Bar (2005), and then Kevin Rathbun Steak (2007). And today, Kevin continues to be a pivotal and driving force in the local and national restaurant scene.
At Rathbun's, Kevin incorporated his take on Modern American Cuisine with a menu that expands to over fifty menu items along with specials every night. His insight to what his guests desire have turned most of the menu items into staples. His features of raw "crudo" plates were one of the first to be seen in Atlanta, and his listing of "small plates" expands to over fifteen items. His entree consist of "big plates" and "second mortgage plates" and range in menu pricing of $15.00 to $39.00. The signature items are the scallops, the lobster taco, the 20 oz. Ribeye with blue cheese, and the veal chop with sweet corn Gouda. Added to that is Kevin's list of signature side plates that range from the cabbage carbonara to the cauliflower mash.

Info: In 1987, Carlos Rodriguez, President and CEO of La Cazuela, found a need for a new style of Mexican restaurant. It would be a family Mexican restaurant with a very festive atmosphere. Along with an attractive environment, the food would be the freshest and best tasting every time. This service would also have to fit a family's budget. Most importantly, the overall focus would consistent performance, not gimmickry.
The first La Cazuela was not an instant success. However, Carlos believed strongly the values he established would eventually lead to success. He was right.
In less than five years, La Cazuela became known as "The Best Mexican Restaurant." By this time, Carlos opened a second and third location. La Cazuela became the place to go for "Best-Mex" food and fun.
La Cazuela serves as a neighborhood restaurant. There are thousands of customers that need their weekly dose of La Cazuela. We see many customers dining with us two or three times a week. Our customers are our neighbors.
